My experience with the entire Goel Vision team throughout the whole process for my SMILE procedure has exceeded expectations. The initial free consultation was efficient yet informative, making me confident to move forward with scheduling my procedure. The procedure itself lasted only about 10 minutes and was a painless and comfortable experience with Dr. Goel explaining what was happening at each step and even calling me later that evening to check in with me. When I woke up after the recommended post-surgery nap, I was able to read my bedside clock for the first time in many years. I have experienced minor expected visual fluctuations post-procedure as swelling subsides, but have been able to go about all normal activities since the day after my procedure. My vision was 20/20 at my follow up appointment less than a week after SMILE. If you are considering laser eye surgery, I highly recommend Goel vision- every visit to the office was smooth and efficient and every member of the Goel team I interacted with was knowledgeable and kind, instilling confidence and creating a pleasant experience.

I've worn glasses/contacts since 3rd grade. I always wanted lasik and I finally decided to go for it. I was nervous but the doctors all gave very detailed information about the procedure and answered any questions I had. They do several tests and really make sure that you are a great candidate for the surgery. They check you even before your surgery to ensure that nothing has changed from your consultation. I was shocked at how quickly the surgery went. The idea of it was way worse than the actual procedure. I'm 2 weeks post op, seeing perfectly and forgetting that I even had the surgery done! Dr Goel was excellent and my only wish is that I had done this sooner!
