Its my 4th day post-op from SMILE and the clarity in which Im seeing is amazing. When Dr. Goel said I would be able to see 50% better within 30 minutes of the procedure he wasnt kidding. Dr. Goels team was exceptional during my consultation and on the day of my surgery. I was especially impressed when Dr. Goel called me personal after the consultation to provide me with the FDA approval documents showing the actual statistics for the rare side affects mentioned in the SMILE educational video. I had honestly thought my concerns had been written off. I mean wow a doctors office that actually listens to their patients!! The actual procedure took a whole 10 minutes and honestly the most horrific part was the initial numbing drops...they burn something awful but the brief shock was worth it to see 20/20. I have to mention Dr. Goels soothing voice here as other reviews do because it is note worthy. It ranks right up there with Morgan Freemans in how its cadence helped me relax and feel comfortable during the procedure. Lastly, a shout out to Lisa, Samantha, Dr. Liggins, Rachel and of course Dr. Sonny Goel for making my 40th birthday present to myself amazing!
