Two weeks ago, I underwent SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) laser eye surgery at Goel Visionand Im still in awe of the results.My journey began at the Towson office, where I had my initial consultation with Lisa and Dr. Barbush. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, making me feel confident and informed from the start.Two weeks later, I met Dr. Sonny Goel at the Columbia office for the procedure itself. Dr. Goel was warm, welcoming, and immediately put me at ease. He walked me through the entire process beforehand, and then again during the surgerywhich, astonishingly, took just four minutes per eye. I could see clearly immediately after the procedure!Dr. Goel personally called me the next day to check in, and I had a follow-up appointment two days later. The care and attention I received throughout the experience were truly exceptional. Having worn glasses for 37 years and contacts for 28, waking up each morning with clear vision feels surreal. I still instinctively reach for my glasses or try to remove contacts at nighthabits that no longer serve a purpose. My only regret?
