    Corrective eye surgery has been an interest of mine for a very long time. After reading reviews following the team here at Dr Goels vision, I decided to go for it! From entering the office, through screening /consultation ( with all of my questions LOL), the surgery, and post op appointment today. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The Columbia team is very professional , patient, and thorough, especially Blessing! As with any procedure my anxiety was high, Blessing took her time and ensured I was comfortable and all of my questions were answered AGAIN before Dr. Goel started. Dr Goel further spoke walked me through the quick and seamless SMILE procedure, which put me at ease. What better gift than the gift of sight for my birthday!! So glad I made the decision to follow through and trust this team.

    After much research I found a doctor who came highly recommended and who granted me a free consultation rather than insisting that I first get an exam with a battery of tests. Dr. Goel impressed me with his patience and respect in answering all of my many questions and concerns.I was further impressed when, after my initial exam, Dr. Goel honestly said that for the best results, he could not do the cataract surgery until after I first treat my dry eye issues. He referred me to another ophthalmologist who specializes in that area.Dr. Goel helped me choose the correct lens by explaining the different options based on the condition of my eyes as well as my daily vision requirements.He and his office staff always makes me feel that my questions (and I have many) are relevant and worth asking.I am looking forward to surgery with Dr. Goel, a doctor, who has earned my respect and trust.Post surgery: I cant say enough about the pleasant experience I had at GOEL Vision. Dr. Goel has a reassuring demeanor and everyone on his staff (from the office staff to those in the surgical unit) is amazingly pleasant, professional and caring as well. A week ago, I had cataract surgery on both eyes (a week apart). It was painless during and after. The oral sedation option was a plus as I am needle phobic. I can now see distance clearly for the first time without glasses in decades.
