Dr. Traffton was very nice and explained my options to me. He will monitor the higher pressure in my right eye which he thinks is caused by the steroid used at surgery. I opted for mono vision presurgery with the hope that I would be able to discontinue wearing corrective lenses as I had long worn mono vision contacts. My close vision is good now but my distance is not. Dr. Ko told me my eye was dry and to use drops and warm compresses and eye would be fine. Last appointment conveniently was not scheduled with her. I am going to have to wear glasses now for clear distance which is not the worst outcome possible I guess. I am not sure my right eye was measured and handled correctly but the only way to fix would be lasik at my expense. I know nothing is guaranteed but that seems a convenient out after all the time and expense. I have gone to this practice for 21 years but it seems more like a factory in the last 3-4 years.

Scheduling needs to be reviewed and revised so that appointments start on time. Many patients take time off from work and cannot afford to lose an hour waiting. Other than scheduling issues, Eye Associates personnel are courteous and professional, and Dr. Weaver is excellent.

Dr. Weaver did my cataract surgery a few years back and now I see him for annual check-ups. He is kind to ask abut my family, but overall he is all business. He is very quick and I had to stop him from leaving so I could mention a problem I'm having with dry eyes. He needs to take a breath and slow down for a moment with each patient and make sure they understand what he is telling them and also hear any concerns they may have. I still consider it a great blessing that he performed my surgery and love him as my ophthalmologist, but he is very quick to get out of the exam rooms...
