I hate to give Clearview overall a bad review because some of the staff are very kind and welcoming. However, my most recent experience led me to consider switching clinics. I made a 4:30 appointment and arrived at 4:35 due to traffic. I got there and the receptionist goes, Yeah, the doctor [Dr. Mulligan] left. There had been no grace period, no courtesy call, nothing. The clinic doesnt even close until 5:30- I didnt understand. When I asked what I could do (because there is something seriously wrong with my eyes that needs to be seen ASAP), the receptionist just said You can make another appointment. So I just left. The doctor nor the receptionist seemed to care at all about their patients. I am now booking an appointment at a different clinic.

The new facility on 35th is nice and spacious. The front desk staff and Dr. Casmir were kind and helpful. However, we will not be going back for service due to Michelle W., the contact lens and lasik tech. She met with my husband and treated him with such disrespect that he almost walked out of the facility. She was rude and berated him that he came out of the appointment equating his interaction with her as a reminder of how he was treated in foster care. No thank you. I hope that the management team takes this feedback and provides customer care training to the entire team but especially to Michelle W.

Not a bad place overall, just don't see Dr. Mulligan. He's got no time for your questions no matter how important they may be to you.

First surgery done wrong . Implanted the wrong lens in the eye. Blamed it on the clerk. In reality the doctor is supposed to double check and make sure everything is correct before he starts. Took 4 surgeries and still NOT rightcorrect

Came in for a procedure on my injured eye. Was told by the doctor Id be receiving two prescriptions that afternoon, one of which was to help with the pain. The doctor even told me how important it was that I pick it up that night.I get to the pharmacy and theres only one prescription, the prescription for the pain medication isnt there. The Clearview office had closed by then, so I wait until morning to call and see whats happened. They tell me a computer problem the night before had led to prescriptions not being sent out but that it had been resolved, so I go to the pharmacy - no prescription.I call the office again and they try to tell me that I was only meant to get one prescription, not two, and that I should just take Tylenol for the pain. I explained that its now been about 16 hours since my eye was poked and prodded with a scalpel and that the doctor gave me specific instructions that included two different medications, neither of which were Tylenol. They told me theyd figure out where the miscommunication was and get back to me, but after an hour of sitting in the pharmacy, waiting for them to call back, I gave up and went home. They finally called to let me know they figured out my prescription and called it in. I call the pharmacy and its out of stock. So the pharmacy contacts the office to see if they can give me an alternate medication, but the pharmacy cant get ahold of anyone at the office, so I call the office again and they say theyre working on approving the alternate medicine, then called me back within a minute, a totally different person, to tell me theyre just going to send it to another pharmacy. After a couple hours, I call the second pharmacy to check on the status of my prescription. They havent received anything. So they have to take it upon themselves to contact the first pharmacy and see if they can get me the medication that Ive spent most of the last 24 hours trying to track down. The doctor and staff were great in person, but the miscommunications with my medicine were more than a little worrying. This is the only negative experience Ive had with them, thus far, but after having to waste an entire day, just trying to get medication, while simultaneously being half-blind and in constant pain and discomfort, is a pretty frustrating customer experience.Hoping its a fluke.
