Professionalism- problem solving Expediency
Referred by my eye doctor from LensCrafter Sommerset, Clavenna Vision Institute was recommended to double check my eyes and the results will be the basis for a second opinion. Thankful for the referral that will help save my eyes from blindness. Arrived 15 minutes early. The receptionist were friendly. Was given paperwork to sign for new patient. I had to show my driver's license and insurance card. Forgot my previous eye results, the receptionist called LensCrafter to send information to the clinic. After input, my name was called by a technician or optometrist. Showed me to a room where they have the equipment to gauge my vision. Voluntarily had my eyes dilated to check pressure. The eye drops never bothered me. No signs of allergic reaction to the dye. Advised effect last 3-4 hours. After a series of eye test, my referred eye doctor came in the room. Gave a firm handshake and explained briefly the procedures I have to take. Results are too early to confirm so I was advised to come back a few weeks from today. Check out was fast. The cashier told me that the charges will be sent on a later date. It will take some time for them to evaluate how much is the total cost of the procedures. It depends on my insurance coverage. Hopefully, I won't have to spend more than I earn. Same person scheduled my next appointment. Gave me a small card noted with the date and time. Private parking at the back of the building. Clinic is located at the 2nd Floor. Elevator available. The lobby looks inviting. Hundreds of designer frames to choose from. Appointment necessary. Free WiFi. Restroom located outside. New patient. Appointment time 930am. Was out 11am. Based on my experience today, I would prefer to have my annual eye exam here at Clavenna Vision Institute. Henry Ford and LensCrafter were my previous options.
I have been a patient of Dr Clavenna for many years. He is an extremely caring and excellent physician. His office team is friendly, proficient and highly trained. I would and have recommended them very highly
I've been getting my eyes checked here for many years, and it's convenient to both my home and workplace. The office is located in Birmingham but has its own parking, which is also convenient. I never have to wait long for my appointment, and Dr. Clavenna and his staff are highly professional. They will also text and email you the day before to remind you of your appointment time and date. I'd recommend Clavenna Vision Institute for anyone who is looking for a good eye doctor / place to get your eyes checked.
