Doctor Shiple has performed three procedures for me. I think he's great. I feel lucky to have been referred to him. He has always demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a willingness to listen. He has a wonderful team who are very attentive and capable.I know the patient/physician relationship is different with each person, but honestly, with the positive experiences I've had, I can't understand a few of these negative reviews. I have decades of customer service experience. I've had my share of demanding situations. I'm not saying it's the case here, but I do feel there are those for whom one just can't come to terms with. This is a highly specialized field, which presents the possibility of varying outcomes. I'm not sure some patients truly accept that. Experiences are influenced by all parties involved and can never be attributed to one person. Nothing I have personally experienced can remotely resemble some of the poorer reviews.

Dr. Shiple performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes a week apart in late October and early November of 2022. From the initial consultation through the surgery and followup appointments, Dr. Shiple was very professional, informative, courteous and patient. He helped me make an informed decision (without pushing me in any particular direction) regarding what type of lens to get. The staff was excellent. I'm pleased with the results of the surgery, which turned out even better than expected.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lane for any cosmetic work. I had a filler done and I'm extremely pleased. The staff is very pleasant, efficient and Dr Lane is awesome!
