I found this team to be very efficient and hard working. While the waiting room is sometimes crowded and you can occasionally wait bit longer than your scheduled time, they make every effort to get patients through in a timely manner. Dr. McCormick does 25+ cataract surgeries/week, which is what one wants--lots of experience. This group also does not try to upsell fancy replacement lenses if not be the best option for the patient.

From first to last my experience with cataract surgery for both eyes was handled confidently compassionately and skillfully. The Timberland team coordinated my visits and my medications seamlessly and Dr. Shiple was clear compassionate and thorough. Many times a sense of commercialism sneaks into my relationship with various providers. This did not happen with Dr. Shiple. It was clear to me that he cared very much about the results of his work and my comfort. I had no discomfort in any time and the change in my vision is nothing short of miraculous. I can recommend the organization and this Dr. unreservedly to anyone.

Met with the Technicians and Dr. David Shiple at Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont. This visit was to determine how bad my cataracts were and what could be done. A path for surgery was discussed and mapped out. The ensuing surgeries went flawlessly with no pain, no problems and no complaints. The entire Office Staff, the Technicians and Dr. Shiple himself were all incredibly professional, patient, willing to answer any and all questions, and they all made the entire process a lot less anxious than it could have been. A fine group of professionals. Thank you.

Wonderful experience for my daughter at Opthalmic Consultants. Short wait time, and professional staff. We were treated like we mattered and not brushed off when we had questions. Will definitely return!
