When I called the office they didn't seem to know about getting laser surgery for astigmatism and told me to call my surgeons office or my eye doctor! You would think they would know something!

Excellent care by Dr. Shiple and the health team at the Timberland office in March 2022. My major complaint is with their untransparent billing practices! 1. The young lady at the counter collected and copied my insurance cards. 2. I was told that neither Medicare nor my husband's insurance (CIGNA) would pay for the astigmatic lenses I needed--$2,400, sigh/swallow, ok. However, nobody said anything about the bills coming from THREE different offices--Ophthalmic Consultants, Ophthalmic Surgery Center, AND the anaesthetist--all amounting to almost $2,000 in addition! 3. Billing is outsourced, so questions/concerns were not answered, and the manager never called back, as promised. My suggestion: Try to get clarifications about costs, bills, and billing procedures up front! My guess is that the staff at the office window won't know and will refer you somewhere else. Good luck! I would NOT use their services again.
