    The people at the front desk are neither friendly nor helpful. Dr. Shin is wonderful the problems lie in the staff.

    This was the worst visit ever. My appointment was 11:20, but it was probably around 11:35 before I was called back. When my name was called, it was Abbie Jackson. Everyone else had been called by Mr. or Mrs. it was hard to put my chin in the chin rest and my forehead on the place for it and keep it there. When it came to dilation, drops were placed in each eye at least 4 times. I asked, am I going to be able to see when I leave? Response; Youll see well enough to get home. Then I had to go back to waiting area for almost an hour before seeing the doctor. I mentioned the excessive drops, but no response. Upon leaving I was given the shades. Though I sat in car for a while, I could hardly see the traffic lights. Its 22;34 now and my eyes are still moist from the drops. I should not have gotten on the road. I will sit here until I can see. I still want t to know why some many drops were put in my eyes.

    I was disappointed in my experience here. Having only gone to the Montgomery location previously, I figured the Prattville office would be just as good. The front office staff were unfriendly, and focused more on getting back to their own conversation with eachother than answering my questions.The person that did all of my exams and testing was very professional, friendly, and helpful. She answered all of the questions I had, and didn't rush me.Unfortunately I only saw Dr Meadows for less than 10 minutes, he looked at my retinas and answered a few questions. It seems like I see him less and less every appointment. He couldn't even tell me if my prescription had changed, and told me to talk to the front desk about it. His assistant wasnt wearing her mask correctly.At check out I had concerns that my new prescription may be inaccurate, and I felt very brushed off by the staff member I spoke to.As a person with eye and vision problems it's really important to me that my care team doesnt just brush me off, or rush through the time I get with them.I don't plan to continue my care with this office after my bad experience today.
