Excellent service. They took me in quickly. The assistant did a quick exam of my eye issue. Then I saw the Dr. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Mann Eye in Katy.

Dr. David Tremblay did my corneal scraping procedure on July 1. It is now July 5. During the first 3 days, the eye that had the procedure watered constantly and there was quite a bit of pain. The eye drops helped but did not completely dull the pain so I took Tylenol, which also helped. My vision, understandably, is blurred But should become clearer. The pain and watering has improved considerably. There was absolutely no pain during the procedure. Pain came after the anesthetic drops wore off and healing from the trauma began.Dr. Tremblay and his staff are very professional and talked me through the procedure, describing what was happening and answering questions as the procedure progressed. He explained that the scarring on my cornea had been completely smoothed out and that he was pleased with the outcome.I highly recommend Dr.Tremblay and The Mann Eye Institute to anyone needing help with their vision..

Don't go here is the main thing I would say!Went here because my old lens from 35yrs ago fell out of place in my eye. When I got to the Georgetown office for the first visit both my wife & I noticed that the office wasn't organized & seem confused just to check in. After waiting to see the doctor we were told we needed to see a specialist & was referred to the other Mann eye office in Austin. When we got there it was the same feeling that the office people didn't know what was going on & what was needed to be done. When we finally got to see the doctor & told him what was going on with my lens he agreed we needed to get it replaced with a new one. (This was agreed 3x while in the appointment by the doctor). The screening appointment & operation dates were set before we left that day. Then the Friday before the screening appointment that was going to be on Monday we got a call to say the surgery was being cancelled because they would have to order a special lens for my eye. The issue with this is HOW did they know they needed a special lens when I hadn't even gone to the screening appointment which tells the doctor what kind of lens I need. So the surgery got pushed back another week - note that I had lost my lens 3 weeks before this happened & I can't see out of that eye. The day of surgery seemed the office was confused again but went thru surgery to find out the doctor DIDN'T replace my lens as agreed 3x in his office but re-positioned my old lens which torn 30mins after surgery again. Which made it to where we had to schedule another surgery the next week. Went in for 2nd surgery where the doctor was going to remove the old lens & put in the new one. Got out of surgery to be informed that the doctor dropped the old lens in my eye & tried for over a hour to remove it but couldn't. So he was now referring us to another doctor who was a specialist at Austin Retina to do what he couldn't do. Had my 3rd surgery with Dr.Wong at Austin Retina & he corrected everything that Mann Eye messed up. Summary - 3 surgeries all one week apart from each other, out of work from June 15th & still not back because of the trauma done to my eye going thru multiple surgeries so close together. I should have walked away that 1st day when I noticed how unprofessional the office was & how no one knew what they were talking about. Don't go here unless you want to lose your eye sight because the doctors lie about what they can do. I wish I would have gone to Austin Retina the first time instead of wasting time, money & possibly my eye sight at Mann Eye.

You don't often have expectations that are exceeded in a situation like this. I was hesitant to do Lasik, but after my initial consultation along with a lengthy discussion that involved pros and cons, we decided it was best to proceed with the procedure, and I am ecstatic that I did. From the pleasant and welcoming demeanor of the receptionist, to the entire staff involved in the procedure, my expectations were blown away as the attention to care 1st was more than I could have ever asked for. The entire team is to be commended and if you are looking for personal attention to detail, please go the the Staff at Mann Eye Institue in the Woodlands.
