    I had a wonderful experience! I was terrified of having this procedure done - things touching my eyes....major ick. My anxiety when I first decided to get the procedure was very high. However, Brittany and Dr. Cottle did a great job walking me through the process and easing my concerns. By the day of the surgery, with anxiety still in tow, I made it through with zero issues. They were very calm, friendly, and compassionate towards the worries I had and reassured me along the way. Both were very competent and adept at what they were doing and I could not be more happy with the results!

    After 8 months post surgery, I can confidently say I am extremely happy and impressed by Dr Broyles and her team. The entire process from the consultation to the surgery itself was extremely professional.Naturally, like any sane person, I did a lot of research on LASIK and the providers here in Austin to ensure that I would receive the best care and treatment since I only have 1 set of eyes. I have no halos, no light sensitivity, and no issues. I have 15/20 vision(the lower the number the better), which exceeded my expectation of 20/20.I recommend Lake Austin Eye to anyone who wants a safe/high quality procedure with a genuine team to care for you post op.10/10 would recommend.

    After seeing several eye doctors, I was referred to Lake Ausitn Eye Totally pleased with her. I totally love the staff and my doctor. Dr. Broyles is great and her technician Brittany is thorough and knowledgeable in her work up. I would definitely recommend Lake Austin Eye to anyone looking for an eye doctor

    Updated review: after filing a complaint for poor customer service based on the bad treatment from their billing specialist, my husband has now been told the doctor will not see him anymore, leaving him with stitches in his eye and needing to find another surgeon to complete his care. This is retaliation and is compromising his medical care.Original review: 3 stars. The doctor's skill is top notch. The customer service and time management leaves a lot to be desired. Several instances have had to wait for over an hour to be seen for an appointment. New (?) billing staff is rude. Doesn't seem to understand our somewhat specialized plan and doesn't seem to be making an effort to either. We've been cut off, ignored, and argued with over coverage that hasn't changed in the past 1.5 years with this practice. Was so bad on a 3-way call with insurance just now (that was necessary after an entire week of back and forth) that the insurance agent asked if we wanted to file a complaint! Um, yes...as a matter of fact, we do.
