I am very impressed with the doctors and staff who are very thorough and accommodating. I had an urgent need that could not be delayed until my next appointment and they fit me in quickly.

We went to see Dr. Chan and she was wonderful and patient. However, if you are going to Lake Austin Eye for Cross-Linking surgery and you have AETNA insurance, don't waste your time. Although their website says they accept AETNA Insurance for this procedure, and I personally confirmed AETNA will cover it, this office will not submit your claim. Instead, they wait until you have 2 hours of testing and then during checkout, ask you to pay for the surgery upfront or they will not schedule it. I tried working with the office because we really wanted Dr. Chan to do the surgery but when I was told, "we are a small office and do not have time to deal with this", it was time to move on. We had to start over with another practice and pay for the same tests we just had done. It's their choice to work or not to work with insurance companies. However, if you are not going to submit the insurance claim on behalf of your patients, please take the claim off your website that says you do and please be upfront with your clients and let them know you will not work with AENTA.

I love Lake Austin Eye. All of the staff members are sweet and helpful. Dr Annie Chan is a very good doctor. Shes helped me immensely and always has solutions and advice. I always feel hopeful when I leave. Which is a good feeling.
