Although not a perfect experience, it was awful close to it. The staff usually got me in quickly, effortlessly, and the results were nothing short of fantastic. I picked the odyssey lenses and they are stunning. I see golf balls for over 200 yards, read small print on the tv, and dont need cheaters anymore. I have severe vertigo issues and was unsure I could be on my back flat. Dr. Gradianu was very patient with me in the surgery room and Jessica my nurse handled my issues flawlessly and patiently. Shes a real gem. This was overall a very good choice that a quality RN relative of ours that had the same operation recommended to me.

I just completed the series of appointments necessary to complete cataract surgery. My experience with the Kovach Eye Institute was exceptional from every person I encountered during this time. I was always seen within minutes of arriving for my appointment and swiftly move through the process each time. Every person I dealt with was professional kind and reassuring. The surgical facility in Itasca was just as impressive. Both times I was seen within minutes of arriving and got exceptional care throughout the entire process. I have a phobia about needles and medical issues in general and they were all so kind in helping me get over all of it. My experience with both surgeries could not have gone better. I would highly recommend both the Kovach Eye Institute and the surgical center they use in Itasca. It is so amazing to be able to see the true color of things now without them being skewed from cataract issues. And lastly, the only discomfort I experienced during this entire 2 surgery process from beginning to end was the little needle stick when I got my IVs. I did not have one second of pain in either of my eyes. It could not have gone better.
