    I was referred to kovach eye institute a few years ago. I was seeing another Doctor at the time. I was diagnosed with glaucoma. When I started seeing DR. Mateen, I had been using the glaucoma drops for lowering my eye pressures. He always told me that maybe I should try laser surgery. I was afraid for about a year. But I finally had it done. My eyes have been better then they were some years ago. I can only speak for me, but, I am very satisfied with DR. Mateen. I trust him fully to know what is best for my eyes.And, I hope I am always able to see him as my ophthalmologist! Also, i am Confident in the kovach staff. They make you feel right at home!

    Dr. Kovach performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I was very pleased with my experience with both his staff and Dr. Kovach himself. I felt that all my questions were patiently answered, and felt welcomed as a patient. The process of both surgeries went smoothly and were done very professionally. My Optometrist recommended Dr. Kovach to me, and now I can see why.

    Thanks to Dr. Saad, I was diagnosed with melanoma in my right eye. He gave me the proper guidance and I underwent radiation last week. I am a single Mother of two young boys. If he hadn't of caught this tumor, I could be facing a lot more issues. Thank you Kovach Eye Institute, you saved my life.Sabrina Panariella
