For several years, I knew I wanted LASIK but was admittedly reluctant to have eye surgery. I had done my own research but it was not until my consult at Goel Vision that I was truly bought in. During my consult, I had my eyes examined by Aimee. Her expertise and professionalism assured me that I was in the right hands, as she was able to answer all of my questions and articulate the details of the procedure in terms that I could understand. After meeting with Aimee, I sat with Dr. Goel for a debrief on which procedures I qualified for and which of those procedures he recommended. Dr. Goels humility and genuine care the his patients cannot be overstated. I had full trust in Dr. Goel and would recommend no one better when it comes to SMILE or LASIK. The procedure was quick, Aimee and Dr. Goel talked me through the entire procedure and the post-procedure recovery regiment was clearly defined and easy to follow. Simply put, Goel Vision is the gold standard in LASIK and SMILE procedures and I could not recommend them highly enough.

I had been considering corrective eye surgery for years. When I finally made the decision to go for a consultation EVERYONE recommended Dr. Goel. My consultation was a breeze. The staff was great and Dr. Goel was very clear about what to expect for the procedure. I had the SMILE procedure the following month. It was super quick, easy and painless. It really isnt bad at all. Getting over my own anxiety was the most difficult part of the entire process. He called me the night of my procedure to check in on me afterwards, which was super nice. He reassured me that what I was experiencing was normal. At first, near sightedness is difficult, but this dissipates over he next few days. My eyes were dry and occasionally felt like something was in my eye- keeping up with the drops is helpful in alleviating these symptoms. I went in 5 days later for my follow up and my vision was 20/30 in my left eye and 20/20 in my right eye. I go back for another follow up in 2 months. Oh and did I mention how nice Dr. Goel is? The best bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and comforting. He made the process a breeze.
