Highly recommend Goel Vision. The staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. Goel was very professional prior to my lasik surgery and afterwards as well. He followed up with a phone call later at night making sure everything was good. Amazing experience.

Goel Vision is awesome!! Ive been wanting to correct my vision for years (I am nearsighted) and have gotten consults from several LASIK offices. I was really nervous about the potential, albeit small, chance of complications so I went to Dr. Goels office next, rather than a LASIK-only kind of place. They recommended that I get SMILE, as I was a good candidate and there was a smaller risk of complications. The cost here is higher than at the LASIK centers, but its totally worth investing in your eyes. The surgery itself went smoothly, but it was definitely a little bit scary. My ONLY complaint is that they offer Valium on the day of if you feel nervous, but they took me in for surgery only 5 minutes after giving it to me, so it hadnt kicked in fully by the time the procedure was taking place. Even so, the surgery was super fast and Dr. Goel coached me through it. The few minutes of discomfort were completely worth the result. The recovery was unbelievably easy. After taking my nap (during which I did have some burning feeling in my eyes for an hour ish), I was out and about running errands and going out to dinner. The next day I spent the whole day at the beach and had no issues with my eyes. Ive barely experienced any dryness and have had no glares or halos. At my post-op they told me my vision was already 20-20 and would continue to improve! I have had some blurry close-up vision at times which is apparently normal during the healing process. Seeing far away is crystal clear, though. As of today I am a week out from my surgery and still feeling fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Goel to anyone, especially anyone who is feeling nervous about getting their vision corrected (just make sure you ask them to wait a few more minutes after giving you your Valium lol)

I am 80 years old and had worn Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) contact lenses for monovision since 1987, but due to aging problems was no longer able to tolerate them. Cataract surgery with Toric IOL lenses was recommended as the best solution, but I was terrified about operating on my eyes at this age.Dr. Sonny Goel is not only an excellent surgeon, but cares about his patients in a way that is rare among medical professionals today. His staff is also friendly, caring, and patient enough to answer all my questions and there were a lot of them.I eventually had cataract surgery on both eyes with the procedure termed Monovision with 2 IOLs and am delighted with the results. I can see as well or better than I did with the contacts, though I still sometimes need 3.0 reading glasses for smaller print. I would recommend Dr. Goel without reservation to anyone with eye problems.
