    Dr. Pappas immediately made me feel at ease. He gave me a clear explanation of the cataract removal procedure & what to expect. During the procedure he coached me along & reassured me that everything was going well & that I was OK. I appreciated that so much!! My recovery is coming along just as he said it would. He is a blessing and I highly recommend him !! His staff was also very attentive & professional !!

    I recently had cataract surgery by Dr Shoss. Because of previous lasik I was restricted on lens choice and naturally had high anxiety about the procedure. He allayed my fears, made the calculations and, voila, I now have perfect vision. I have to travel over an hour to his practice but he is totally worth it.

    Dr. Papas is uniquely warm and caring and has choreographed the surgical process with such precision the patient feels like every facet has been tailored to them, individually. My husband had cataracts in both eyes removed this spring and could not be happier. We would sincerely recommend Dr. Pappas and his staff with the highest level of confidence.

    Diagnosed with Macular Degeneration of both eyes several years ago and want to praise the entire staff for their kindness but also to give praise where praise is due to Samantha Xavier, M.D., my optical physician. Having suddenly and unexpectedly be diagnosed with bilateral (both eyes) Macular Degeneration at a fairly young age of sixty-three, needless to say I was terribly frightened as to what might be awaiting me and my vision future.     I have been a patient of Dr. Pappas for almost 30 years. Recently I've had some additional eye issues, and when I needed cataract surgery, I specifically asked for Dr. Pappas. It was a little more complicated due to silicone oil in my eye for a retina detachment. The surgery was a breeze and Dr Pappas was GREAT! He is a wonderful, knowledgeable, caring physician and I recommend him highly to anyone needing his expertise.
