Dr. Pappas restored 20/20 vision to my sister, to my husband and to me! Occasionally I will use readers but my eyesight is astonishing. Dr.Pappas is more than a great cataract surgeon: because he is so positive, uplifting and empathetic, he takes away the fear and uncertainty many of us feel about eye surgery. My husband wore glasses for astigmatism for most of his life and now no longer wears them. The cataract surgery was so much easier than I imagined. Dr.Pappas scheduler, Cathy, is very efficient and patient in explaining the pre and post procedure. I have recommended Dr. Pappas to my friends who are considering cataract removal because I 100% believe in his ability to restore great vision. If you are apprehensive or nervous about cataract surgery, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Pappas to be your doctor!

Dr. Pappas has a great chair-side manner: -Very friendly: always happy, smiling, glad to see you. -Very thorough: concerned, checks all your symptoms, wants to know exactly how you're feeling. -Makes sure you understand what is happening in your eyes, asks if you have any questions, and answers all of them in language that you understand. -Has monitored my glaucoma and successfully treated it for many years. Two years ago, when the cataract in my left eye was ripe, he thoroughly explained the laser procedure, what I would experience, and made me comfortable about it - it was a success. Recently, the cataract in my right eye ripened, so I was primed and ready for that laser procedure. I am very pleased with the improvement: my vision in both eyes is nearly 20/20, after wearing glasses for over 35 years!! Thank you, Dr. Pappas! I highly recommend you and your excellent staff to everyone!!

I'm a straightforward patient. Healthy eyes, just come in for my yearly prescription of contacts. It was my first appointment at this office and it went very smooth.Pros:-Didn't wait long to be called back-Doctor Levando was great. I'm not looking for a doctor to be my new best friend. There was some friendly chit chat but we got down to business and my eye exam was done quickly and efficiently.-Front staff was friendly.Cons:-My only con is that when I walked in to the building the smell of astringent hit me in the face. I guess that means the place is clean. It was a little jarring but I got used to the smell quickly.

We had an excellent experience having cataract surgery with Dr. Pappas. He was very considerate and kind and did an excellent job with the surgery. We will be having the neck surgery in the next couple of months.
