Where to begin... It has almost been a year since I went to have my very outdated contact lens prescription updated. In addition, my eyeglass prescription. I could go on and on about the rushed time spend with the nice young girl that dilated my eyes. But, this was nothing compared to the time spent with the actual provider, Paul Harman, DO. If he did some sort of exam it was over in a blink of an eye! He then asked what brand of contacts I have used in the past. I gave him the long since expired box of contacts and he wrote the new prescription exactly as it was written on this very dated (as in 5 years prior) contact box! I paid an additional fee to have an updated contact prescription. What a waste of my time and money. I will not pay for new contacts, when a 5 year old prescription was copied. Of course he didn't know it was that long ago. I feel Dr. Harman took a shortcut in my exam and assumed as to when I had my previous contact exam. On to my eyeglass prescription. What prompted me to make an appointment was the fact my eyeglasses from a 2 year old prescription, weren't cutting it anymore. I am in my early 50's and felt my eyes were declining. Difficulty seeing the TV and a very hard time with night driving. And the insanely bright headlights. So, yeah I was SHOCKED to read that my eyeglass prescription had improved! Needless to say, I won't be using that prescription either. I don't feel as if I received an actual accurate eye exam! Overall, I'm not pleased with any part of my 'exams' at Eye Associates of Tallahassee. BTW- I was a new patient. My mother referred me. She had since gone back and said never again (apparently she was exposed to a rude young lady who cut my mom off when she was speaking, rudely saying "I know". And yelling at her. Mom said I can hear just fine) Sorry, I got sidetracked. So, with this new year beginning, I will try again to have my eyes examined. So, I can proceed with new glasses/contacts.

Dr. Kato was one of the Rudest Dr. I have ever met. Very unprofessional and condescending.

I have seen two separate doctors and they have both been the most disrespectful and detached doctors I have ever met. Not only were my problems dismissed, but my time and money were wasted as well. I was talked down to as if I did not know what I was talking about and as if they knew me better than I know myself. I have never felt so defeated walking out of a doctors office in my life. DO NOT go here.
