This is a very busy practice with lots of patients, so the waiting room is usually full and the wait time a little longer then other eye clinics I frequent. I would have deducted only half a star, had the individual who checked me in treated me more like an person instead of a work product in a queue. The care and compassion shown by Tia, the testing technician, and Kenya, the scheduler for surgery, were responsible for making the office visit a positive experience. Employing people like Tia and Kenya ensure that I'll return to Eye Associates for my surgical needs.

The doctors are wonderful but the office staff have NO IDEA how to run a schedule. Be prepared to wait. I get it, you are busy, but so are your patients. Was there 2 hours for a check up.

The doctors and their assistants are very good and friendly. The only problem with Eye Associates is the wait time! My appointment was at 2:00. I got there at 1:45. They took my insurance info very quickly. Then I sat for almost 40 minutes past my appointment. I finally went backAnd the assistant did all the things the optimist does. Then I had another wait. The doctor finally came in at 3:30. Reallythats just ridiculous. He was nice and did the exam but there was no apology for the long wait time! My time is as important as their time.

First visit. Probably running at least 30 min behind your appointment time. Tech checks your eyes, reads the prescription and eventually you will see the doctor. Finally saw him some 70 minutes after my scheduled appointment. He was thorough. Then off to optometry to look for glasses. Great staff there but found out they ARE NOT in network for my insurance (Fedvip). Significant costs if I use Eye Associates out of network. Will use them again for exam, but likely not to buy glasses from them.
