    We saw Dr Jackson today for my toddler who had an eye injury over the weekend. He was very patient with my child and got her to open her affected eye voluntarily to ease her pain and discomfort. He listened to our concerns and addressed my questions. All other ancillary staff from the check in lady at the front desk, the lady staff who initiated the exam in the room to the young lady who checked us out were very nice. I did not have to wait long to be seen when coming in for the appointment and that was after getting a same day appointment.

    Dr. Cannon is probably one of the best Drs that I have seen in a while. He genuinely cares about his patients. Its not just my opinion but from the opinions of people who I personally know. The nurses staff at West Georgia Eye Care are the best! Super friendly and thorough. I have never had to wait very long to be seen. Im thankful that I chose this practice.

    Dr. Cynthia Nix is an amazing cornea specialist and my doctor because of my complicated eye problems. I had RK surgery in 1980, whith results of almost 20/20 vision for 20 years. Now, in my later years, I have scar tissues that are causing a vision problem. Dr. Nix reccomemded Scelaral contact lenses and I got those from Dr. Mark Smith of WGECC. Dr. Nix did my cataract surgery and implanted lenses to correct my vision. The existing problem is the scar tissues which changed the front of my corneas. The lenses completely cover the corneas and changes the surface as it flattens the shape for a better sight. I am having an anual check up to see if any age related eye problems may start. I feel blessed to have a caring eye specialist available. Everyone working in the office, from technicians to office personnel, are friendly, professional and knowledgeable in that field. I recommend West Georgia Eye Care Center to everyone who needs to see an eye doctor. They have a wonderful selection of many specialists.Rosemarie Platt
