I had Lasik done here 10 years ago and it was the best. However, my eyes have shifted and I called to get an appointment to try out contacts. I was told I needed an entirely new, full appointment even though it had only been 7 months. I had them schedule me with a doctor, went to my appointment, and while I was paying, realized I did not have a prescription for contacts, only bi-focals. I was told that the doctor could not prescribe contacts and I would need to schedule another appointment with their optometrist. $180 and two hours later, I still had no contact prescription, when that is all I wanted. I have been waiting to hear back from the office about the email I sent them about this, but it seems I will keep waiting.

My husband had his eyes corrected with Dr. Mann. The surgery itself was fast and very little pain he (my husband) mentioned. The healing time has been easy overall. The only negative experience we had was the day of surgery. We were suppose to be in and out of there. Everyone we talked to said they were so fast. It took us 3 hours. They said they forgot we were in the room. By hour 2 they still hadnt given him his Valium. Such a waste of time, but surgery went great. The staff is friendly and the office is nice.

The staff and especially Dr. Barker are phenomenal!Always patient and explain everything to you until you understand. Only reason didnt give 5 stars is because no mater how many times I called to ask what the charges would be or if any covered by insurance I kept getting told well let you know before your appointment but still didnt know until I showed up for appointment.

I enjoyed my annual check up.The only challenge is the check-in procedures that I must repeat twice: first on my phone and then again in person at the counter. Same steps. Also, I must enter my Social Security number. Why? This is no longer necessary.I survived identity theft, so the computers making these decisions at Mann EI ignore humans. STOP asking for personal information that gets stored or sold!Other than getting through prompts and hurdles with Chelsea at your side, the staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and attentive. Brace yourself for heavy typing and data entry. Youll do it twice like its practice for your eyes.
