STAFF is snobby and unhelpful as other have said. I am a long time patient, I have always had insurance. I changed jobs, my insurance card had not come yet. I did however have a phone number and a group ID. They preferred to cancel the appointment losing money rather than make the phone call. Yes i took time off from my new job so i didn't have to cancel the appointment yet they are just uncooperative and rude. I have tried several time to contact the operations manager leaving messages, and she cannot be bothered to call back. I dont like being made to feel like I am a liar.

All about the MONEY. Wanted 1.000.00 payment, before my son could get a follow up appointment after cornea transplant

Due to a diagnosis of Fuchs' Dystrophy in the past 1.5 years I have had cataract surgery and partial cornea replacements (DSEK procedures) on both of my eyes. The 4 surgeries were all performed by Dr. Zacks. He is so caring and patient. He will answer every question you ask him and never make you feel rushed. The staff from the front desk, the operating room, and the exam room nurses/medical assistants are all very friendly and caring. Even the billing dept. is great! Family recommended checking out Boston for the DSEK surgeries however I had heard Dr. Zacks was one of the top cornea specialists in the country. My nearly perfect vision can attest to that statement. There is sometimes a delay in your appointment time as with many medical offices. Once you are treated with such care and patience you understand why it is worth the wait.

Always professional, and Dr. Thees takes the time needed. I never feel rushed.
