    What a miserable experience. Original appt was set for 10:40 AM but the office called and rescheduled for 12:30. Arrived at 12:15. By 1:30 we were still sitting as were others. There was zero communication from the staff as to the status of the appointment. Customer service is non-existent. Consideration for the patient is non-existent. Apparently this place has no idea how to schedule procedures. After one hour my husband, who by the way has the patience of Job, was totally frustrated and ticked off. We left and will never return. What has happened to the medical profession? Stop treating people like they have no value except to line the pockets of the doctors.

    Back in 1999 I had Lasik done on both eyes, and it has been great hands down. I was warned about later in life, how I would no doubt need reading glasses, and that time has arrived. But the time I have had it's worth the trade off. One not so good thing though, not sure it happens with everyone but my nighttime driving suffered greatly, glare is a very bad thing now for me, so much that I don't drive at night if at all possible. Sometimes I wear sunglasses to help, only when cars are coming. I am going to ask them to see me and see if I might be able to do something about that!

    Waited two hours for Dr Miller. I complained she said I was disrespectful and left! I had to wait another 30 mins for the next dr. He saw me 5 mins told me my eye were fine and I was set to go. Very unprofessional and no comuication. I will no go back and telling everyone who asks including all my other Drs not to go!

    Worst customer service and care we have had the misfortune to experience in Maine. After a supposed emergent care situation and waiting to get an appointment, we were left four hours in the lobby for a 15 minute visit. Saying some about that to the staff and Dr Zack's nurse who responded "well at least you got to enjoy our city". Not sitting in a lobby we didn't and what a flippant attitude! Finally just two days before surgery we were called and asked to come in earlier for surgery. We commute to have these appointments which the office is aware of 3 hours each way for a total of six hours. We came in two hours early and then, only after we inquired because the scheduled surgery time slid by, we are told the surgery is at the iriginal time scheduled and nothing would be done. The lack of care, empathy, concern, or any interest in your time or person is just absent from this company. Paying money to keep them in business just to treat you like you and your family is of no matter or interest brings us back to healthcare over 20 years ago that certainly was best left in the past. Healthcare has supposedly grown since then. Find any other place to receive your care if you would like be treated with a bit of commitment n decency,dignity, and respect. We both are praying for services ANYWHERE else but here for the future.
