Double check with your vision insurance before coming here! They consider themselves "specialists" and will charge your medical insurance and not your vision insurance. This could leave you on the hook for hundreds of dollars even if you're just having a routine eye exam.Dr. Walters was a good doctor, but I'll never go here again.

Relatively quick appt., but I still don't have all the information I need in order to buy glasses online for my daughter. Now I have to go to lenscrafters or another store in order to buy glasses. I was given just basic distance measurements in the prescription. I can't use this prescription to order glasses online. What was the point?

Maine Eye Center was just fantastic for our daughter's new glasses. Sally Ann was so patient and thoughtful, spending tons of time tracking down the right shape, size, type of frame, and color. Scott was super helpful with fit when we picked up. All in all a great experience.

They overbook in a big way. It's a brutal and horrible experience. They don't care about the patient experience.

I went here for minor surgery to remove a chalazion. I waited an hour to see the doctor even though I had an appointment. They appeared to be very backlogged on the day's appointments. When I did get to see the doctor, he suggested I try an ointment first. I tried it, it did nothing. Now I still need surgery and have to pay $150 for the appointment which accomplished nothing and did not deliver the surgery I was scheduled for. Will not return.
