The employees are friendly and Dr Berman has been great seeing both of my children.. However, the wait times are hell. We arrived at 2 for a 2:30 appointment for a routine eye exam for glasses and did not get out of there until almost 5... 3 hours for an eye exam is insane, especially when you're there with children (in my case a 2 year old that I had to keep occupied in the waiting room for 3 hours).. My son had his eyes dilated (which of course accounted for some of the wait), but we were told it would take about 40 minutes and we didn't get called back for 90 minutes. It is a very busy office and I'm confident they are all trying their best but just be prepared for a wait. Bring a phone charger and a snack.

I've just had cataract surgery for both eys and I'm extremely pleased with the change in my vision. Maine Eye Center treated me with the utmost professionalism and courtesy and I am impressed with the Center's efficient operations.

Dr. Lisa Neavyn is excellent. My Wife and I went straight to her after moving up to Maine from Mass where she previously practiced. Excellent location, plenty of parking, Free WiFi during brief wait. Staff was courteous and friendly. Clearly posted insurance Policy. Great Job keep up the good work !

Just completed two cataract surgeries, both with stents for glaucoma control with Dr. Cady. This is a highly skilled and organized practice which manages to maintain an atmosphere of personal connection. I highly recommend them for any of your eye care needs.

Disappointed with Maine Eye Centers patient responsiveness. 2+ hour wait times for appts with no communication from techs. Receptionist are incredibly rude on the phone. No one seems to have an internal phone number for billing, just the outsourced 3rd party billing. Took 2 weeks of phone calls to get a copy of my "good enough" prescription in the mail and not once has a provider asked me how the sudden changes in my vision have impacted my lifestyle. Maine eye center needs to invest in their staff with a re-focus on leadership, Staff training and customer service.
