Staff was absolutely fantastic! We went in knowing our appointment was going to be on the longer side, but I was prepared to be longer than the 1.5-2 hours because of some of the other reviews, but we were right under the 2 hour mark. It was pretty busy too. The staff made my 6 year old really comfortable and he felt welcomed. Overall a great experience!

Both of my kids (8 and 9) have seen Dr. Jeffrey Berman recently, and Im very happy with the care we received. The waiting room is comfortable and the kids loved playing with the big foam wedges, creating forts, beds, slides, and playing with the other kids.My youngest had his appointment last week, which was expected to be long because of dilation. The waiting room was pretty crowded, but we were seen within 30 minutes of our appointment time, which is a pretty huge win for a pediatric ophthalmology office. Wed been to one in Texas before, and you can count on 30-60 minutes when its busy. So, yeah, takes a while, but absolutely not unordinary. The exam was mostly completed, then we waited another 40 minutes after the dilation for the remainder of the appointment, which wasnt very long. We were in and out in 2 hours, which is within normal. Everyone was friendly and patient, and were gentle and accommodating when it came time for the drops, which sting a bit.My older sons appointment was today. The waiting room was pretty empty this time. We were called back quickly. After the drops, though, the 40 minute expected wait was around 90 minutes. However, the entire visit was still within the expected 2 hours, so its a win, in my opinion. My older sons worn glasses and did patching/atropine drops from 18 months old until he had eye surgery in 2019. Patched some more after surgery, then hit a plateau and were advised by another doctor to discontinue patching. However, Dr. Berman advised that its not too late to try again and hope for better vision before adulthood. So, were starting that up again and will see what happens. I appreciate the follow up and making sure weve exhausted all opportunities to improve my sons vision. Thanks a bunch.

Excellent facility, attentive staff and Dr. Fowler is beyond impressive. He took the time to make a diagnosis for my eye issues.
