    I saw the doctor here and got a new prescription. When I picked them up it felt like my eye was being pulled to the side and I said something. I was told to just keep wearing them for several weeks to see if I would get used to them. In the meantime I developed debilitating migraines. I spent months and months with doctors who tried everything and eventually I started injections. That helped somewhat. I got a small scratch on one lens and went back to my old pair. My migraines disappeared! I went to a different eye doctor (9 months after my visit at eye care specialists) who told me that the axis in one eye of the prescription was totally wrong. I went back to my old eye doctor and asked for that (2 year old) prescription. It agreed that the one from Eye Care Specialists was off by over 60 degrees! This was almost certainly the cause of my migraines and why they went away when I went back to my old glasses. I went back to eye care specialists and I was told it had been too long and the best they could do was 50% off new lenses. They obviously do not care that they put me through months of neurology appointments and awful migraines, they just want to get MORE money out of me when THEY are the ones who caused all of this. I cannot believe I even have to come back here to pick up my daughters glasses. Never again. I will make sure everyone I know goes somewhere else.

    Literally on the 10th time going back and forth, 40 mile round trip, to get glasses that actually help me see better! My ols glasses, while not great, far exceed all four pairs that I've received so far!I drove down and met three times with the doctor for an exam; four times picking the glasses/lenses up; once to go back the same day I initially got the lenses because they were wrong; the next day because I was supposes to receive a call from the optician, who never called me; and once to finally ask for a refund. Shelly, the woman at the counter said that I would be receiving a call from the manager to deal with my issue (not her fault), and no call yet. If this is state of the art eyecare, I'll go back to Walmart! If I could do a 1 star rating at this point, I would.Well, finally got a call from the manager, Kurt, today, who said that they would be happy to refund the money for the lenses, but had to get ahold of another manager to ask about a refund on the exam! Really!? Shouldn't be that hard to get this refunded, or get a call within a few hours! You would think that they would take the problem a bit more seriously, but no!Since I never actually received a set of lenses that were correct, which was the purpose of the exam in the first place, why should I be charged for something that rendered absolutely no benefit to me at all!?They did apologize, and I'm glad they're "sorry," that still doesn't make up for the waste of my time and gas, nor does it resolve the frustration of this whole ordeal! And again, I have to drive to their location to get this refunded! Mind you, I was there on Friday, the tenth time, it should have been done then! Now, I have to drive, waste time and gas, again, to get this refunded!A $185 set of lenses has cost me an additional $100-125 dollars in gas! Great job, awesome!

    I went to get my eyes dilated today and I was running about 10 minutes late due to me waiting for a ride and when I got there I waited behind another lady that was checking out for 15 minutes. At this point Im 25 minutes behind schedule since the lady before me was taking a while. I took time off from work and rearranged my holiday schedule to make this appointment. I pre-checked in as well. The Receptionist finally got to me she said very rudely and unsympathetically that my appointment had passed and I would have to reschedule. The last time my husband went to the WP office he waited for 40 minutes to be seen and I have waited a long time as well in the past. However, when a customer is running behind they are not understanding and unforgiving. The next appointment was in February. My family of 4 will not be going back. Ive been a customer for a long time and this was so rude,especially on a holiday. Merry Christmas!
