    I booked an eye exam here. They were helpful in making the appointment. I arrived early, checked in with their automated system, and went to wait.I was quickly approached by one of the staff who had a question about my insurance. They thought that the exam needed to be billed through a different insurance company, not my main provider. I called the insurance company and after 13 minutes on the phone, confirmed that the insurance info I had given was entirely correct and that was the right place for them to bill.I told this to them and they said that they would need to reschedule my appointment as I had now missed my appointment time. I politely insisted that I had arrived early and given all the correct info. I agreed to see a different doctor if needed; I wasnt fussy on that. They offered me an appointment almost an hour from that time.Pretty disappointing that a clerical error from the staff made me miss my appointment. Ill find somewhere else to get the eye exam.

    This place is conveniently located in the uptown shopping area with easy parking. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable for the whole family.

    I'd give 5 stars but I will be going elsewhere after being a customer since at least 2013. It's been long time. 5 stars because of Dr. Darrell Evans, he is amazing! Truly. But as far as billing & payments, I was overcharged 2x in error. Once a few years back. and now early this year (2024) by $63.75. Used a company given gift card with the name "Merry Christmas" (AMEX card) Reception told me after I used my balance, she should toss it as it was at a 0 balance. I said "I guess?" -Only to get an email they had refunded (Without calling me) the $ to that card. The email even says "Hello Merry Christmas"!, Well it does no good that the card was tossed in-office & the fact that I've called 17 times since May with 0 answers & results. I was nothing but patient and kind, but I have to now go elsewhere. I'm not in need of cash in hand, the fact is that it should have been addressed the 1st time I called. It's now late August. I would have been 100% ok with a credit. I am now shopping for a new eye place!

    Dr. Farrell is great and so is her staff. The eyeglass technicians are also very helpful.
