    Love Dr. Tara but there seem to be some really big internal operation problems. I received a bill and it was incorrect. I called the number on the invoice and the women I talked had several reasons for the charges. None were correct. Turns out this is an outside billing agency. I called the Dallas office and they said it would be fixed. It was not. I then went into the office and spent about 20 minutes with the person behind the desk and she gave me a credit for my co-pay that was paid but not credited to the bill. The doctor said the other charges are not correct. Next bill, nothing was corrected. Called the Kingston office twice and left messages and no one has returned my calls. I am going to have to go to another doctor because I will not pay a bill that is not correct and I'm sure they won't see me unless I pay it.

    This is not a norm for me. I usually DON'T throw anyone under the bus unless it's definitely called for. This one is definitely that.Went to get my eyes examined on December 18th at Eye care specialist Dallas office. (My eye doctor retired). My contacts were changed after I was wearing contacts with readers in them for a few years now. The doctor wanted me to try straight vision contacts and use cheaters if I need them, but she said don't put those other contacts in. So she gave me trials to try. She knew my benefits were up December 31st. She said to call the office let me know and then we can order contacts and or glasses and tweak your prescription if it needs it. I told her I will order contacts thats what I wear the most. This is where that problem starts. I left the office with the straight vision contacts stopped bought cheaters incase I needed them. By 9 that night started with a real bad headache. So I took them out and wore them again the next day another bad headache. By the 3rd day I knew the prescription needed to be tweaked in the right eye. Started calling the office the 22nd. To this day which is December 30th still have no call back from the doctor. I have been calling everyday since then except Christmas day. I was told the same thing day in and day out. She's with a patient I will talk to her and we will call you back. My husband even stopped he was given the same story. If you want to save yourself aggravation and a headache. DONT GO TO EYE CARE SPECIALIST DALLAS SHOPPING CENTER. They are awful. No patient should be treated like this. If you can't take care of your patients get out of the field.

    HORRIBLE experience. If i could give a 0 star i would. I have always went to a local family eye care. This is NOT THAT. The eye dr Mick was awful. Careless and rude. Rushing through appointments. The people over the phone are just the same!! They are so careless, the rude attitudes, hanging up on you. It is NOT worth it to even go to this office. I got charged for a mistake the office made on contact lenses, i have sat on the phone for 3 hours got hung up on over 4 times. I cant get an answer besides for eating the bill and never going back to this place. What a horrible excuse for a business!!

    Extremely unprofessional staff at this office, I went for my first time for a routine evaluation to see whether or not I need glasses. The culture here at the eyecare specialist is very robotic, nobody seems to have personality and are very cold. After being told I need glasses and was given a prescription I went to the counter where I was told, Im good to go home. . . I called the office when I got to my car and asked how come if I have a prescription why was I not sent to look at glasses to choose from? Then I was told over the phone to come back in and theyll have me taken care of. I dont understand how I was told by the doctor that I have a prescription why I will be sent away.After that, I two different occasions I went back to have my glasses loosened because they were tight. My concerns were ignored and they straighten my glasses and I had bought a Michael Kors glasses, which werent cheap. After the second time which they made my lenses fall out of the glasses frame. The staff doesnt communicate between each other, and seemed very short tempered with people. Good luck if you catch their good side.

    Dr. Lloyd is great. However, every single year I am told that I am completely paid, and then I receive a bill from the corporate office!! Their billing is a joke!
