This office took me on the same day I called in as an emergency case and they honestly saved my life. I went to the doctors before that never told me about my blood pressure, but Dr. Cockerill and her crew sent me to the ER after my exams. They were all so accommodating and so sweet. Forever thankful for this office.
After cataract surgery through Mid Ohio Eye I was having a lot of difficulty finding a prescription for glasses. With the help of my opthalmologist I had chosen to have mono focal lenses with one eye near vision and the other eye for far vision, hoping I wouldn't need to wear glasses . That worked for the most part. I desired to purchase pair of glasses that I could wear all day or when my eyes would get tired. After 5 months of trial and error with no success from other optometrists I came to Mid Ohio Eye and met Vince . The Mid Ohio Eye Care Center was successful. Vince came up with a suggestion of a procedure called slab off to make my glasses. They educated me on what it would entail and we made the decision to give it a try. When the glasses came in I was excited and apprehensive. I kept my eyes closed and then put on my new glasses. When I opened my eyes I could see clearly both near and far equally in both eyes!! Tears came streaming down my face with joy. Not only did I cry but both eye center staff and a sales lady that was there selling new glasses frames also teared up. I was overwhelmed with emotion. After 5 months of other places trying to make workable lenses, Mid Ohio Eye successfully made lenses that are still to this day making me happy and seeing clearly. Thank you Vince and your coworker. I highly recommend Mid Ohio Eye for all your eye care.
