He is by far one of the best doctors I've been to. He doesn't make me feel rushed as a lot of other doctors do. I highly recommend him. He has a great bedside manner as well.

Had cervical spine fusion done in Feb. 2015 with Dr. Morgan. He left Spine Team a month or so after my surgery. After a few months I was beginning to have a lot of pain. Everytime I went in for an appointment I was with a different person and treated as if I was a bit crazy. I had to go to the emergency room twice to get relief from the pain over the summer and yet Spine Team did nothing. They did order me to have another MRI. When I went in to go over the MRI the doctor I had never even mentioned it and when I asked about it he said there was nothing. He would not even prescribe me a muscle relaxer let a lone anything for the pain. He said to do facet joint injections. A local chiropractor referred me to a neurosurgeon in Dallas and they had me do several tests (CT Scan/myelogram). The results showed I have a bone spur which is pinching a nerve right above where my fusion was done. The bone spur was shown on the MRI prior to surgery - I discovered that while the surgeon is performing a fusion surgery, they shave down bone spurs and fix other problems while they already have you cut open. Facet joint injections will not help my problem (which was the generic cure Spine Team said I should do). I now have to see pain management and have regular injections done to help with my pain and buy me time as I am still not healed from my surgery. I will eventually have to have surgery again to fix this problem. Also, the physical therapy here is horrible. The staff were all nice but when your dealing with chronic pain and the spine, I need more than that.

After reading reviews I went to Spine Team Texas and saw Dr. Donnelly. She was great, very professional and spent a lot of time with me looking at what was going on. After figuring out I had 2 herniated discs, she did not push surgery, and actually pushed PT after getting injections. I was very pleased that they didnt go right for surgery as other docs had taken one look and said surgery was the only way to go. As far as people saying it looks like a 24 hour fitness, I thought it was pretty cool that they do their PT in house and have tons of machines and equipment to try to build up the muscles needed to stabilize your back. So far, it has been all I could hope for. Highly recommend!
