I called yesterday for an emergency appointment. The practice was able to get me in 2 hours after I called so I was prepared to see one of their less experienced providers. I was completely wrong: Dr. David A. Shiple is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and personable, traits that are rarely found together! Dr. Shiple identified a problem that has gone undiagnosed for several years through multiple appointments with other ophthalmologists and optometrists. He was able to explain it fully and to explain the long-term plan. While I was unnerved by the information, his explanation of the corrective action and that it was probably many years off, did help immensely.

In my recent interactions with Dr. McCormick, he was thorough, personable, thoughtful, and informative. He ensured that I understood my situation, my options, and my likely outcomes, and he graciously answered all questions my husband had, as well. I was grateful and relieved to have him operate on both of my eyes.
