I have an eye thing - as in dont touch my eyes. Think like Rachel Green on Friends. This was my first appointment with an ophthalmologist. The last being with an optometrist 20 years ago. The optometrist back then had the gall to puff air into my eyes, the gall! (Joking but only somewhat, why, just WHY?!). This experience at Mann Eye Institute was a game changer. I was checked in by some lovely ladies at the front desk. Frankie took me to get images taken of my eyes, cleaning and drying each before use, while calmly explaining everything step by step as we went. Kenneth was up next, doing the lenses number 1 or number 2 thing, dilated my eyes - not an easy job, my eyes are not cooperative, the head jerk happening while I actively attempted to resist it, Kenneth having the patience of a saint. Last came Dr. Tan and Maria. Dr. Tan could be a hypnotist, soothing, calm voice explaining everything. Can I just say, my eyeballs and optic nerves make for great photos. Found those fascinating!! Dr. Tan went through all the images and explained each one very clearly. Based on this experience, I can confidently say that I will be returning here for all my eyeball needs. Top notch!

I recently had LASIK surgery at Mann Eye Institute, and I can't express enough how pleased I am with the entire experience! From the moment I walked in, the facility impressed me with its modern decor and welcoming atmosphere.The front desk staff, Ashley and Francesca, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. They answered all my questions with patience and professionalism, which helped ease any nerves I had about the procedure.Jahlisa, my counselor, was another standout. She took the time to explain the LASIK process in detail, addressing all my concerns and ensuring I felt comfortable every step of the way. Her warm demeanor really made a difference in my experience.Dr. Wright is a fantastic surgeon! He took the time to discuss my vision goals and laid out a clear plan tailored to my needs. The procedure itself was quick and surprisingly comfortable, and I felt reassured knowing I was in such skilled hands.I also want to give a special shout-out to Gina, the optician. She helped save me over $400 by just repairing my old glasses to hold me over as I prepared for my LASIK. I would have purchased a new pair of glasses that I would only be using for 5 days. I truly appreciated her expertise and kindness this truly shows that they care about their patients.The results have been life-changing! I can confidently say that the clarity of my vision has improved immensely. I highly recommend Mann Eye Institute to anyone considering LASIK. The combination of an excellent facility, attentive care, and a top-notch surgeon makes this place truly stand out. Thank you to everyone at Mann Eye Institute for giving me the gift of clear sight!
