Dr Kovach and his staff are very thorough and provide excellent care. He has a very busy practice but gets you in and out as quickly as he can although he isnt rushed. I highly recommend this optometrist.

Dr. Kovach and his staff are excellent. I had Lasik performed 2 weeks ago and I am extremely happy with the results. Dr. Kovach explained all steps of the procedure both before and during the surgery to ease any concerns that I may of had. Yes it is true you will wait longer times for appointments however, if you want the best of anything the wait is worth it. Thank you Kovach Institute for a job well done!

I was referred to kovach eye institute a few years ago. I was seeing another Doctor at the time. I was diagnosed with glaucoma. When I started seeing DR. Mateen, I had been using the glaucoma drops for lowering my eye pressures. He always told me that maybe I should try laser surgery. I was afraid for about a year. But I finally had it done. My eyes have been better then they were some years ago. I can only speak for me, but, I am very satisfied with DR. Mateen. I trust him fully to know what is best for my eyes.And, I hope I am always able to see him as my ophthalmologist! Also, i am Confident in the kovach staff. They make you feel right at home!

I highly recommend Dr. Mateen AliNiazee. I had a severe eye infection that was previously diagnosed by two optometrists as conjuctivitis. When my symptoms failed to improve after medication and 4 weeks of waiting, I was referred to Dr. Mateen. He was very knowledgeable, and took a different approach to treating my condition. He prescribed a variety of inexpensive medication and a different regimen to combat my double bacterial viral eye infection. My symptoms began to clear up almost immediately, which was a huge relief considering all of the other failed attempts by other doctors. Dr. Mateen is a very warm and caring doctor who truly cares about his patients. He took time to explain in laymans terms what he saw during my examination, and what direction he would take in order to treat me. He made me feel very comfortable, and I felt confident that I was in good hands. In addition, staff was friendly and very helpful when scheduling appointments. Not to mention, the office is absolutely beautiful! I 100% recommend this location. THANK YOU, DR. MATEEN!
