HARD PASS on these guys. Seem to garner a following as they are slightly more polite than Blount Co. Eye Care and in the same parking lot. Dr. Billingsley, not a fan. Arrogant, well rehearsed and seemed generally willing to inconvenience customers to up-sale products and to serve herself. She even mentioned something about retiring soon so I doubt she even cares. The same goes for the staff that handles glasses and the front desk. Affable but more than willing to withhold information and upsale for their own gain (or to keep their job).Dr. Billingsley informed me my prescription was too high and needed a special brand of contacts from the ones I usually wear as my regular brand didn't go up that high. Not remotely true as my new optometrist had my trials in two days, adjusted the prescription in under a week and offered several brands to choose from. Said it would be a wait as there was a "contact shortage". Also not remotely true. Then refused to keep in contact with me so I had to periodically stop in every other week to see if they came in.Almost three months later, I happened to check in randomly and lo and behold my trials were there and nobody had bothered to call me. I try them on and they were the wrong prescription. Then the staff acted extremely nervous when I demanded my prescription I had paid for. Dr. Billingsley came out and unceremoniously stated that's not their policy and refused to let the staff give it to me. Then had the audacity to charge my insurance for a contact fitting that clearly never happened. So, no accountability, an up-sale shady sales tactics, mismanagement, incompetence and unwillingness to make it right. This type of optometrist firm is why people get their prescription and then go to Walmart to get things cheaper and without aggravation. Will be complaining to the Tennessee Board of Optometry about Dr. Billingsley and by proxy Campbell, Cunningham and Taylor. It's service, as in Serve Us, not the other way around. Strongly advise to avoid.
