On the day of surgery, the office checked my prescription again before handing me over to Dr Brenner for a brief review of my condition and also ask any questions I had about the surgery. The surgery day was very busy, as many patients were scheduled for surgery. However, the staff at the office were very friendly and made me feel comfortable asking for anything I need to make sure I was comfortable during my wait. The whole visit was a little under 2.5 hours, but the surgery itself took a maximum of 15 minutes. Like many patients mentioned on the internet, expect a burning smell at the time when the laser is operating. There wasnt much I could do on the surgery table. Dr Brenner did a good job communicating what to expect before he does something (i.e., Im going to do X now so you will feel some pressure; Im going to do Y so you will feel like you are under water, etc.). I was feeling anxious mostly because there were more people than I expected in the surgery room (maybe 6 or 7) and I didnt take Xanax that was offered haha. The surgery went well. Today is my 7th day post-surgery, and I am so glad I did it!

The procedure was really quick and painless. My surgeon recommend I do monovision it took a few weeks to adjust. Now its been over a month and my vision is perfect. Thanks!

I have a high level of confidence in the entire office. Dr. Brenner is responsive, highly skilled and I trust him as I do Dr. Melke.
