There was a lot of redundancy in the process. You spend a lot of time answering a lot of questions then they ask you the same questions verbally. My husband had cataract surgery on one eye one week and the other eye the following week. He was required to come in for a second preop appointment 2 days after the first surgery. This was a burden since we live over an hour from the office. Dr. said it was required by insurance. Dr. was thorough but the information was confusing as she spoke so fast. Learned more about the procedure choices by reading their web sight. I would recommend Lake Austin Eye to my friends/family.
They are courteous and professional. Joy, their receptionist, is a joy. She is very welcoming. Dr. Cottle always greets you with a smile, answers your questions ,and explains why certain procedures are needed. I am very impressed with the staff there!
Dr. Cottle performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I can see again! She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease before and after surgery. Dr. Cottle is an exceptional eye doctor and I am happy and blessed to have her as my eye care provider. The staff isalso exceptional.lI recommend her highly.

Dr. Cottle's knowledge and expertise combined with her great beside manner equates to such diligent patient care. She was able to appease my fears, yet ensure that my surgery and recovery was the best I could receive. Dr. Cottle truly exemplifies an excellent physician that took The Hippocratic Oath to heart!
