I like Dr. Sherry Dustman. She is probably the best eye care professional I have seen in years. She and her staff were very good and I felt the eye exam was more complete than others I have seen.

Wilkinson Eye Center is a second generation eye care practice of which I am an unabashed fan. They have taken very good care of my eyes for more then a decade. If all goes well, I plan to use them at least that much longer. Why such a fan? Well, much like Linda T. I feel the staff is knowledgeable AND nice. Granted, being knowledgeable is an expectation. But being nice also? Icing on the cake. My first visit was to make sure that I would still be able to see after being attacked by a little old lady that found me insincere ( I complimented her manicure). Her punch landed on the bridge of my glasses-halving them and leaving me near sightless. Wilkinson to the rescue! Dr. Dustman got me into the correct prescription and the Wilkinson staff then fitted me with little old lady punch proof specs. Fast forward to 2009 and since that initial visit I've only had three prescription changes (and no punches). How does that compare to the other eye place? Every year my prescription changed. Funny.

Actually, if I remember correctly, I've only seen the optometrist here, and it was for a problem visit and followups. Sherry Dustman, OD, was who I saw, & she's very knowledgeable when it comes to contact lens issues, and came up with a diagnosis for my complaint. Actually, maybe I did see one of the ophthalmologists for one of my followup visits...I just can't remember who--if I get a chance, I'll try to look it up (whether I actually saw an ophthalmologist or not & if so who), but my memory's going. But everyone here from docs to staff were nice & helpful. Located on the 2nd floor in the office building attached to the north side of the hospital on the west side of Woodward.
