Whenever I go to a doctor's office, I expect to wait a long time, and for the doctor not to have time for me. Dr. Goldstein is exactly the opposite. I was in an exam room within 20 minutes of my appointment time. Even though he was really busy, he took the time to explain what was wrong and why I wasn't seeing as well as I used to. His staff was friendly and really well organized. The manager recognized that I was a new patient, and asked how everything went when I was leaving!! I will need surgery in the next couple of months, and I can't imagine going to any other doctor. All my neighbors go to him too, and now I see why.
My new LASIK eyes are both 20/20 and have been since the day after surgery last month. Dr. Goldstein is the best, his staff is so nice and funny and respectful! I have never had such a great experience with a doctor.

THIS doctor actually cares about his patients!! I have been to him first for an emergency situation, and his staff got me in the same day. No questions or stalling, they knew I was having floaters that needed to be addressed immediately. It ended up that I did not have a retinal detachment, but they still had me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Next, I decided to have Dr. Goldstein do my surgery. His team set me up perfectly, and I have had 20/20 vision for several years now without glasses. His office is well run and efficient. He is kind and skilled and intelligent. That's why I came from San Francisco to have him do my surgery.
