Beautiful office. Great doctors and friendly, helpful staff.

This time I did not feel as if I was a welcomed customer by the receptionist. Maybe she was having a bad day. Also, the tables they have put in front of the reception desk are not a good way to welcome patients. A standing sign might help to say stand back (like we dont know with Covid) , and it is somewhat difficult to juggle in a purse for information while not being able to fully utilize a counter to prop up against especially while using a cane to stand with all the winter garb on as well. Attitude goes a long way as well. Again, maybe a bad morning....when asked if I was exposed to Covid, I answered in the affirmative and said it was over a month ago. She was taken back when I said I did not have a test but we quarantined. There was no need for a test as we did not have direct contact. Perhaps a little more education on Covid protocols would be helpful as well.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr Sward. She did an excellent job on both of my cataract surgeries.

Dr. Hetzer is exceptional - very thorough and clear when explaining the issues. She provided practical advice and clearly is expert in her field. She is supported by a great team of professionals that made the entire experience comfortable as their work gave me confidence that I was receiving the best eye care for my needs.
