Everyone at Spine Team is great! From the moment you step in the door, your experience is top-notch. I had been having severe right leg pain for six months without any relief after PT or the handful of other non-surgical treatments I had tried. My MRI showed disc herniation at L5-S1 that was pressing against nerve roots causing the pain. Dr. Patel agreed with my hope of having surgery to fix it, recommended minimally invasive lumbar discectomy, and was scheduled for surgery 5 days later! Dr. Donnelly did a nerve test on me several days before surgery and she was amazing as well. I woke up out of surgery with absolutely zero leg pain (which made me cry tears of joy when I got to the car!), an incision small enough to be covered by a bandaid, and able to walk! Im 24 hours out of surgery and I feel amazingly great! VERY minimal back soreness at all! Dr. Patel is a truly gifted surgeon and takes his time with you to make sure all your questions and concerns are answered (his PA was also wonderful and thorough!), and I could not be any happier with my experience with this team!
