Dr Rosenthal is Horrible dr and a horrible person!!! I went to this dr for a second opinion. Worst decision of my life!! I filled out a form in his office about problems with my vision. I indicated NO for every question that even his secretary Berta asked me why I was having surgery. I was in no mental shape to make such an irreversible life changing decision. Dr Rosenthal never even addressed that questionnaire!!! If he did he would know that I did not need cataract surgery!!! He is unethical and only cares about the money!!! He ruined my vision and quality of life!!! I have balance and dizziness problems now I've lost my near vision and this has created a terrible imbalance!!! My original eye dr told me after the fact that I did not need cataract surgery!!! Stay away from this dr!!!!

Be aware that they charge $95 for the refraction. Insurance doesn't cover it. I had specific tests that needed to be done. They said they didn't have time to do them. Found dr Rosenthal to be abrupt and not interested in my requests. Just the opposite of the lovely Dr B David Gorman who I wanted to see but the office said he was away and return date not known. Dr Gorman never charged extra for the refraction. Believe he has retired.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gorman for a very long time. Dr. Gorman sold his practice to Dr. Rosenthal and everything changed. Today I spent 40 minutes filling out a medical history on my phone that I had been required to give on a clipboard a year ago. I was requited to provide my complete social security number without any security guarantee. I was required to provide my credit card information, with CCV code, without security guarantee. Dr. Gorman spent time with his patients without getting too off schedule. Rosenthal's first priority is commercial. Minutes before my appointment today a received a "very important message" from Rosenthal. It turned out to be a push survey aimed at selling me surgical services I did not need. Earlier, again online, I was pushed to sign up for a retina scan, for $95 not covered by insurance, that again I did not need. Dr. Gorman is a remarkable physician. He is under no obligation to sell his practice to any particular person. He has sold it to a person without merit. It raises the question as to why a person of Rosenthal's age should have to purchase a practice. Why has he not built one himself or with medical partners?I will not recommend Rosenthal to anyone. I recommended Dr. Gorman to everyone.
