Dr So is the fourth glaucoma doc I have had, and he is by far the best! I've had multiple surgeries with all of them, including a very invasive implant (Ahmed Shunt) with my previous doc. I cannot know for sure, but I don't think I would have needed the implant if Dr So had done my first cataract surgery.He did my second cataract surgery with a special tiny tube that he put in at the same time as the lens. Very simple, and non-invasive. That was December. My pressure reading in that eye on Feb 25 was 9 - YUP, that's right. 9!!I am 54 and have had pigmentary glaucoma for nearly 20 years. I use three different drops in my eyes everyday, but my pressure is lower than it has ever been since my diagnosis.The office can feel a bit like a factory, but they are efficient. Dr So is kind, but very matter of fact about what I have been facing. Highly recommend...

Dr. So was recommended to me by my optometrist. I found him easy to talk with, answering all my (many) questions. He eased my mind regarding glaucoma - his specialty, and was my surgeon for cataract removal that went smoothly. All necessary pre and post-surgery steps were clear and arranged.

Best Doctor in the World. He is kind, compassionate and very caring about his patients. He does not treat you like you were just another number. Hes tops in his field and he also has excellent people skills.
