My husband and I have chosen to drive in from Madison in order to secure the services of Dr. Edmonds since moving to Wisconsin four years ago. In fact, we have already recommended him to friends in Milwaukee who now see him as well. He is one of the most knowledgeable eye doctors we have encountered (we moved to Madison from Chicago). His professional expertise in corneal and other issues allows us to leave the office, secure in the knowledge that we have received accurate, up-to-date information and are cared for accordingly. In the case of a perceived emergency, we are seen promptly with good follow-up care. We hope to continue as his patients for many years to come.

I recently had LASIK done. A thorough explanation was done during consult to ensure that I understood the procedure as well as the risks. During the procedure, both Dr Edmunds and the attending nurse again talked through each step, making me less nervous through the procedure.

Dr Edmonds and Dr Heileman are the best.After having cataracts removed from both eyes, with 6 weeks between surgeries, I no longer need to wear glasses for driving and the halos are gone.For reading I only need 1.25 reading glasses, which is amazing.Many years ago, I had Lasix in the right eye and LTK on the left eye. After cataract surgery on the left eye it took me a few weeks to heal, and I was faithful about putting the drops in as told. On the right eye I had absolutely no problems at all. I actually missed many of the drops as it seemed to heal by itself very quickly.I am very pleased with the care I received at Milwaukee Eye Care and I would recommend them highly.

Dr. Edmonds takes all the time necessary to explain what needs/could be done and gives options for each. My cataract surgery went extremely well and my eyesight in the eye that was irked on is better than I expected.
