After realizing that I had probably been experiencing some Glaucoma symptoms (peripheral vision loss) I scheduled an examination. I completed three pages of patient history forms prior to my arrival and was seen on time by a series of helpful Institute staff who took me through the various tests required to inform a baseline diagnosis ( it was indeed 'Pigmentry' Glaucoma) and establish a treatment plan (combination of eye drops to be taken twice a day). The eye drops brought my eye pressure back down to normal levels by the time of my follow up a week later. All in all, a huge relief as it is disconcerting to be losing vision at all when under the age of 40! All the staff were excellent and in particular Dr Caroline Schmidt was knowledgeable, personable, professional, and very reassuring. Excellent 5/5.

I have been a patient with the Mann Eye Institute for many, many years, but the reason for writing this review is to talk about my most recent visit. I had an issue with one of my eyes. As it turns out it was an infection. On this particular visit I saw Dr Turk and Kelly. Wow, I always thought these guys were fantastic, but there was something extra special about this team The way Dr Turk explained my issue after giving me a thorough exam made me feel confident that I understood the problem and exactly what I need to do to resolve it. I think it was the time and words that were used that made me feel really good. And Kelly could not have been nicer and seemed to also understand very well what needed to be done. She made sure that my prescription was called in exactly the way we discussed. I am about to go in for a follow up and I can't wait. The treatment that was prescribed is working and I feel and look much better. Thank you so much Dr Turk and Kelly.

This is a two part review because I dealt with two different sets of people each time. My daughter has been having some problems with her eye and we decided to check this place out. First person we met was Rebecca at the front desk. Great smile, amazing customer service and just overall a nice person. Met with Dr. Turk and she was very thorough and helped with the diagnosis and treatment and she was great with my daughter. Fast forward to our follow up visit and nothing has changed! Met Becca at the front desk this time and she was amazing too! I'm not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to scheduling and I came on the wrong day but instead of just saying "Sorry! Don't let the door hit ya on the way out!" Becca got me in to see the doc. You have no idea how helpful that was to me. You have the perfect storm for your employees there. Customer service, happiness, willingness to help and just overall niceness. The world could use more people like them. Keep up the fantastic work.

In the past two weeks I had cataracts removed from both eyes, yesterday was the second surgery. Other than for surgery, all my visits were at the Katy office. That is where I first met Dr. Brian Wright. He went over everything with me and told me what I should expect. He was very courteous, as was the entire staff.On the day of my first surgery, I arrived at the Main Street facility, the staff at the front desk was all business but the nurses were very friendly. Before going into the surgical room the nurses asked how I was doing, I replied I was starting to get quite nervous, one nurse made the comment that a hand holder was needed. I took it as a joke but when I was settled on the table there was Michael (I believe that is his name). He told me to squeeze his hand as hard as I needed to. Michael sat there holding my hand during the entire process. My only regret is, by the time I was able to sit up, he was gone so I missed telling him how much I appreciated what he'd done for me.While performing the procedure, Dr. Wright described everything he was about to do. As I was preparing to leave he came out to tell my husband and I how well everything had gone.The entire nursing staff at the Main Street facility is excellent.Dr. Stephanie Turk is who I saw for my followup visits. She is very friendly and thorough. She examined my eyes and took the time to tell me what to expect going forward and answered all my questions. Everyone working with her was also genial.I am thrilled with the results of my surgery. I highly recommend the Mann Eye Institute!
