    I had Lasik two days ago and so far I am very happy with the results. After over 30 years of wearing contacts, it is an awesome experience to wake up and be able to see. brbrI had the free Lasik exam at my local Mann Eye clinic, but chose this location for my actual procedure. I was really nervous on the day of the surgery, but Dr. Mike Mann and his staff did an excellent job of answering all my questions and assuring me that everything will turn out okay.brbrImmediately after the surgery, I could see, but it was a little fuzzy. I had no pain or discomfort post surgery and didnt need the numbing drops. I did get the blended vision which is taking some adjusting, but in the long run I think will be for the best since I dont want to have to wear reading glasses.brbrThe facility is very nice and every one I came in contact with was very professional. My only complaint was that it was very business like and not very personable. It was obvious that they do a lot of procedures and like to keep things on schedule.

    Ive had the best experience working with Mann Eye Institute for my LASIK Surgery last January. brbrEvery follow up experience and even my refinement surgery experience was the best one could ask for. brbrI truly feel that the investment was worth every penny! Its very clear that they care about their patients. brbrDina Owens, the surgery manager is so great to work with. She has the most pleasant attitude and takes her time with everyone.brbrMy boyfriend is having LASIK surgery this week and I wouldnt have allowed him to go anywhere else but with the great staff and doctors at this Mann Eye location.

    I originally went in for my free LASIK consultation about 18 months ago, and was told I was not a good candidate (primarily due to the fact that my eyes were still changing, so not a real shocker). I went back last week, and was told I know appeared to be a perfect candidate and we could do the surgery as soon as I was ready. I had the surgery the following morning. Throughout my visits, I met with Dr. Brunson, Dr. Chin, and Dr. Mike Mann. The majority of my time was spent with Dr. Brunson. He and his staff were extremely professional during each of my visits and took the time to talk with me about the results of each of my various scans, and helped me understand why I was / wasnt a good candidate for LASIK. I never felt like I was being rushed out of the office. On the day of the surgery, it was clear how experienced the doctors were - they were excellent at walking you through the procedure, answering any / all questions you had, and keeping you calm. In fact, Dr. Mann (who actually performed the surgery) and his operating staff did a fantastic job during the procedure to keep things light and calm, and talked with me throughout the whole process to make sure I knew what was happening, and to make sure I was doing okay. All in all, the experience was fantastic, from start to finish, and I consider it the best money I have ever spent.I would recommend Mann Eye Institute to anyone, whether youre just interested in a regular eye exam, or if you are interested in LASIK.

    Just had my one year check up with my eye doctor, and my vision is GREAT! He couldnt believe how well my eyes healed and said if I hadnt shared that I had LASIK done he wouldnt have been able to tell just by looking! :-)

    My name is Kelly and I am an employee of MEI Katy. Ive been in the eye industry for 16 yrs and I have to say that MEI is by far my favorite employer! Their quality of care goes far beyond just helping patients with eye exams. Their employees and patients become family very quickly. I am very proud to say I work for an employee driven company! I hope to be apart of this team for a long long tine!
