    It is difficult for me to describe the impact that LASIK has had on my life without sounding totally contrived, but I can honestly say that this surgery has changed my life. It is truly one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. Prior to surgery I was not a candidate for contacts and was stuck wearing glasses all the time. Besides the obvious hassles of constantly wearing glasses, I always felt like my face was covered. LASIK surgery has helped me regain some of my self-confidence. I have been a patient with Eye Excellence for a few years now and have yet to have a bad experience. The care that I received throughout the LASIK process is unmatched. Steven is supportive, attentive and truly took care of me. Dr. Green was able to customize my experience, and because of her expertize I am now seeing better than 20/20 three months post- surgery, and just in time for my dream vacation to Costa Rica! I look forward to taking surf lessons and knowing that the only struggle I will have is my total lack of coordination, and not how to balance wearing glasses in the ocean. I truly cannot thank the team at Eye Excellence enough for the amazing work that they do.

    I still can't believe this procedure. You always want to research the heck out of something like this before you go and do it, and Mann Eye really makes that very easy. I scheduled my consultation online and met with Ashley. She met me with a smile, explained how they did things, talked about what Lasik was, how it helped, and then asked if I had questions. When the subject of finances came up, they had a HUGE array of services to help make Lasik affordable for anyone. When Ashley and I were finished, Dr. Morello tested my eye site, curvature, etc. and explained how things would work for Lasik. From there, I knew Mann Eye was for me. As the procedure got closer, Ashley became my personal e-mail cheerleader! Very amazing individual. When the day finally arrived, the entire crew at Mann Eye were AMAZING! It is naturally an intense procedure, but the people on the day of my Lasik were so amazing, so caring, so gentle, and most of all, HILARIOUS. Dr. Paul Mann did my procedure. He was very gentle and walked me through everything we were going to do as we did the procedure.I know that it's hard to conceive for some that you can come out unscathed on the other end of a laser re-shaping your eye...but trust me when I say this...Mann Eye makes it worth it! I had my procedure done on 12/6...on 12/7 I was 20/15 (better than 20/20)!!! At my 1 week appointment, I was still at 20/15! We will see how things go in January at my 1 month! Could not recommend these people enough!

    LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!<br><br>I got Lasik surgery back in August and I am LOVING every dollar spent on it.<br><br>Yes this place is more expensive than others but do you really want to trust your eyeballs, on a surgery that you could go blind on, to a place that charges less? I would rather save my money and go to a top notch place like this.<br><br>I was thoroughly impressed by how many free eye exams I was given before the day of the surgery. I got my initial consultation in May to find out that I was eligible for the surgery. They told me that my eyes were dry and i needed to put eye drops in to prepare them for the procedure. It seemed like every couple weeks they were giving me another complete eye work up to check my corneas, dryness, and whatever else needed to be checked (I'm not an eye doctor :) )<br><br>The day of the surgery I must admit I was a little nervous but the doctor is super nice and all the nurses made me feel at ease. It made me feel even better that the doctor almost didn't do the procedure because he didn't like the way one of my scans looked. That showed me he cared about doing my procedure and not just trying to rush around. He did finally give me the ok after I go scanned again.<br><br>The procedure is kinda crazy but its quick. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel at ease. The most important thing is to follow their instructions for the recovery period. Not only do they do a fantastic job before you get the surgery but after as well. I have three check ups to find out I have 20/15 vision! <br><br>I am very glad I waited this long and saved my money to get this procedure from the Mann Eye Institute. I would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting Lasik. I love my new vision.<br><br>Thanks Dr. Mann and crew!!

    Had LASIK 5 days ago at the Mann Eye Center in South Austin. Everything went well, and the staff - doctors included - really went out of their way to make this a pleasant experience. It is incredible to me that I can walk into an office legally blind, and walk out seeing 20/20 (albeit very hazy at first). Their technology is the best available, and they do a great job minimizing process for the patient.<br><br>I was given lots of information and reassurance before, during, and after the surgery, and at no point did I feel undervalued as a customer. The entire staff was excited for me on surgery day, and created a positive atmosphere. The procedure itself was relatively painless - just uncomfortable and disconcerting pressure - and recovery has been smooth, too. I like that they have a 1-day, 1-week, and 1-month follow-up plan that is included in the price; it makes me feel well-supported.<br><br>My only complaint is that they were running 2 hours behind schedule on surgery day, and that they aren't cheap. But, for something as important as my vision, it was worth it to me.<br><br>THANK YOU, Mann Eye!
